Dixie Chik Cooks Top Ten Recipes of 2018

Ah, 2018.

Probably one of the biggest assholes I’ve ever endured in my life.

I mean, get the F out, already 2018. Time to start a new year. New projects, new food, and more growth for Dixie Chik Cooks.

It didn’t completely, 100% suck ass, however.

I definitely continued to cultivate my love for smoking and started to get real with making videos , although I need to ramp that up much more this year. Much, much more.

{End of Rant}

Not everything was negative.

The things I learned to do and yet again, stepping outside of my comfort zone, 2018 will remain just ok in my book. With everything I went through that year; from a few surprise health issues that are seemingly never-ending, deciding to take a short sabbatical from nursing – one thing hasn’t changed – I still enjoy my food. It was, as always, and always will be, a welcome distraction for me.
