Golden Grahams Oatmeal Crunch Cookies

You know those recipes that sound a little unhinged until you taste them?

These are those cookies.

At first glance, they look like a classic oatmeal cookie loaded with chocolate candies. But then you bite into one and get that buttery honey crunch from the Golden Grahams cereal and suddenly you’re questioning why all oatmeal cookies don’t have cereal in them. They’re chewy in the center, crisp around the edges, packed with texture, and dangerously snackable. The oats make them feel cozy, the M&M’s bring the chocolate, and the cereal adds this sweet crunchy magic that somehow survives the oven.

Golden Grahams Oatmeal Crunch Cookies

Honestly, these cookies have no business being this good. As a matter of fact, you could even call them breakfast. Technically, they do have oats and cereal.

You’re welcome.

Storage Tips

  • Keep in an airtight container
  • They freeze beautifully – roll unbaked dough into a log, wrap with plastic wrap then transfer to a freezer bag, OR Using a 1 tbsp cookie scoop, portion the dough into balls, placing them on a parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze for an hour. Transfer to a heavy-duty zip lock bag for use later. (The second option lets you take out however many you need whenever.)

Golden Grahams Oatmeal Crunch Cookies

I just love that signature *snap* when you bite into a plain M&M. Or “em-eee-em’s” as my daughter called them when she was 2 ½-3 years old.

*sigh*

I wish my kids were little again…

Oh, and by the way, I used plain “em-eee-ems” in these cookies.
