A couple of weeks ago, I came home from work to find a package at my front door. It was from Foodbuzz and this is what was inside…
When I read the letter that was in the box, it took me no time to decide what to make. Just a few days before, a friend of mine, Joanna, asked me if I knew there was a whipped cream flavored vodka. I have seen peach flavored, vanilla flavored, grape, etc. but I had no idea such a thing existed.
Chocolate Truffle White Russian
1 cup brewed Godiva Chocolate Truffle Coffee (NOT hot – you want this cold or room temp, but it’s best if it has been in the fridge for a day or two)
1 oz. whipped cream flavored vodka
1/4 cup half & half
1 tbsp. Splenda
Whipped cream (or Reddi Whip)
To an ice-filled glass, first add the half & half then coffee. Stir in the vodka and Splenda. Top with whipped cream.
Make note of how the whipped cream slowly starts to incorporate into the drink…..
These are dangerous little toddies!!
This weekend we are cooking out, probably having some family over and enjoying what’s left of summer. These are definitely on the menu.
