White Jalapeno Dip is a knock off of a popular restaurant appetizer. There are several versions, but this is one I made that I like the best. Not sure if it tastes closest to the actual restaurant dip, but I happen to like this more than others.
I haven’t made a dip recipe in a couple of weeks, so you know I’m dying to.
So….yeah. It’s about time.
For today’s post, I made you Creamy Jalapeno Dip.
This is kinda, sorta like Chuy’s famous jalapeno dip, but with a few more things added in. It’s a little better, in my opinion.
Yes, this is a lot like this dip, oh and this dip. I’m always tweaking and reinventing stuff around here; damnit I can’t help it.
This is different because I added and/or removed some things. It doesn’t have the same peppers, and I included mayo and a packet of dry Ranch dressing. It also has some salsa verde thrown in there because, well, that stuff is amazing.
You’ll like it. I promise. I kinda want to dive head first into it.
One thing I think really makes a difference is using real buttermilk.
I’ve made my own so many times using fat free milk and vinegar because I don’t tend to keep buttermilk on hand. It’s worth going to get some to make this.
Oh, and I poured this over chicken and cheese nachos (of course, with more jalapenos) and it was the bomb. Feel free to add more jalapenos if you want more heat.
Here’s your printable –
