Big Game Snacking with Pepsi and Frito Lay

Do you like to entertain during football season? It can be so much fun, but a lot of work. However, it doesn’t have to feel like work OR be stressful! I’ve made a really easy tutorial for you showing how to put together a fantastic snack table for you and your guests to watch the Big Game!

Big Game Snacking with Pepsi and Frito Lay

Let’s get started!

Decide on what food you want to serve. I went with some tried and true favorites; hot dogs with condiments (hot dogs are easy, portable and customizable), DORITOS® Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips, LAY’S® Kettle Cooked Original Potato Chips and TOSTITOS® SCOOPS® with TOSTITOS® Salsa Con Queso and TOSTITOS® Medium Chunky Salsa.

For sweet snacking, I made chocolate dipped strawberries that look like little footballs!

Having a variety of crowd pleasing chips on hand is a must do. Seriously, have you ever been to a football party where they aren’t serving TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!®?? The Scoops are perfect for the Salsa con Queso and the Medium Chunky Salsa, but honestly, all of the chips are great when dipped.

Dips

As far as refreshments, I went with Pepsi® 12-pack cans and Aquafina® bottled water. Aquafina® is my go-to bottled water to buy because it has a pure taste.

My bucket was perfect for holding about 8 canned Pepsi® cans and 6 Aquafina® bottled waters.

Once you’ve decided on your menu, you can plan the rest of your snack table, starting with your scene. I chose both a tablecloth and backdrop, which I found online. My tablecloth looks like a football field, and my backdrop looks like a stadium scene, which I though looked fantastic with lights or sun behind it! You don’t necessarily have to do a backdrop, but I wanted to round out the entire table scene.

Next, choose serving dishes you already have on hand, or even pieces you could borrow. I had the reusable paper hot dog and park basket containers on hand, as well as the straws and bottles. I also used a galvanized bucket with burlap trim, as well as a 3-tiered serving stand (huge space saver!).

This held several hot dogs on the bottom, condiments, salt and pepper in the middle and small plastic cups for dips in the center, and napkins on the top tier.

These cute little chalkboard stands are great for labeling each item on the table! I think they just add a little personality to the table, and ensure that you know what you’re picking up!

Having the two dips were so perfect, because you want to give some options without going overboard. Although I love them all, DORITOS® Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips have always been a favorite of mine; I used to put them in my sandwiches! The LAY’S® Kettle Cooked Original Potato Chips are so good, they really don’t need a dip as far as I’m concerned.

I love the crunchiness and touch of salt.

My strawberries were very easy – all I used was 1 pint of strawberries, milk chocolate chips and a gel icing pen from Publix!

I also picked up all of my chips, dips and drinks at my local Publix.
