I wanted to think outside the box, so I came up with a BBQ Chicken Calzone with my Havarti cheese.
Yes, Havarti. Havarti is the bomb, y’all!
So easy, and definitely versatile.
You can add whatever cheeses you want and any other add-ins. I kept this one pretty simple with Havarti cheese and banana peppers.
At first I thought about making at pizza, but, honestly, I really like the idea of calzones because they can be individualized and customized to your guests’ palates. You can add anything like olives, jalapenos, pickles (yes!), different cheeses, etc.
Experimenting is fun!
