Candy Corn Infused Vodka is a simple combination of candy corn and vodka. The longer it sits and “infuses”, the better it will taste.
Give me hot, spicy, cheesy beautiful food any day of the week. However, every now and then I have a little hankering for something sweet. Combine that with my affinity for a really good cocktail and here we are.
What is Candy Corn Infused Vodka?
We’ve all seen the stuff on Pinterest about candy infused vodka recipes, like infusing vodka with jolly ranchers, caramel, etc. I’ve been meaning to try something like that for a while – I’m not gonna lie – because it looks like it’s so much fun, but I just haven’t gotten around to it.
Because, you know, there’s food to be made.
So, every October I make a fall arrangement for my dining room table (I use the term “arrangement” loosely- I’m really, really not very good at that kinda thing), which includes my glass pumpkin that I fill with candy corn. I have to continue to refill and refill this thing until Halloween is over because anyone walking through the door can’t stop from grabbing one or seven handfuls of candy corn.
Hey, I don’t mind – I put it there for a reason.
So, the candy corn got me thinking about the whole candy/vodka thing – if Jolly Ranchers dissolve to make Jolly Rancher infused vodka, will candy corn do the same?
The answer is yes, yes it does. It’s smooth, almost velvety, and I’m so proud of it.
One could also describe this as a little buttery, and very easy to drink. It’s seriously the perfect little shot. I’m wondering what one could mix this with…..thoughts??
You’ll want to use a good vodka, but not a GREAT vodka because you’re masking the taste of the vodka with the candy, so no need in spending a bunch of money when the taste will be altered. I used Pinnacle here because it’s a good vodka that’s easy on the wallet.
The candy corn I used is S’mores flavored, but of course any candy corn will work. I just used this because I recently bought a big fat bag of it.

Candy Corn Infused Vodka
Vodka infused with Candy Corn, making it a ready to drink cocktail. If you're a candy corn fan, you'll LOVE this!
Ingredients
- 64 oz vodka - I like Pinnacle
- 1/2 cup candy corn
Instructions
- Combine the vodka and candy corn in a large mason jar with a fitted lid.
- Let it infuse for 3 hours to 3-4 days. The longer it infuses, the richer it will taste.
- Use a strainer to get rid of anything solid and return liquid to the jar.
- Recover and keep cold (I put my jar in the freezer).
- Serve by itself, or use to make creative cocktails. Enjoy!
