Candy Cane Crunch Blondies

Candy Cane Crunch Blondies

A batch of Candy Cane Crunch Blondies is all you need to show up to the obligatory office party, your family party – or to make at home for Christmas eve.

Because why share these??

Aren’t they so pretty?

It’s Christmastime – and I’m baking my ass OFF.

Do any of you remember (they may still have it for all I know) the White Chocolate Walnut Blondie dessert from Applebee’s? It’s a huge pillowy soft blondie with big white chocolate chunks and walnuts, topped with ice cream and maple butter sauce. It was pretty spectacular.

I loved that back when I liked desserts. I don’t know what happened, but I just don’t crave them anymore.

Ok, every now and then I like a Hershey miniature or two, I won’t lie.

Of course, I bake sweets for my sweet little family. They put them away like there’s no tomorrow.

As a matter of fact, they hide them from each other. It is funny, I won’t lie. I guess I can laugh because I don’t care if they’re there or not.

What Are Candy Cane Crunch Blondies?

These are Smitten Kitchen’s blondies that I made a modification to. Her blondie recipe is the best. In her words, it’s the “only blondie recipe you’ll ever need”. It’s a one-bowl recipe, 1 stick of butter + 1 cup sugar + 1 cup flour + 1 1/2 cups mix-ins. I added a layer of Hershey Candy Cane Kisses at the bottom instead of mixing them in because you basically get the same effect, but if you want to stir them in – knock yourself out.

You’ll love these.

And just in time for last minute Christmas baking!
