This past week a fellow food blogger, Jennie from In Jennie’s Kitchen, lost her husband Mikey suddenly to a heart attack.
In her pain and suffering, she wanted to remind us how fleeting life can be. She had one simple request. Make Mikey’s favorite dessert – Peanut Butter Pie – and share with with someone you love.
My heart goes out to Jennie and her girls, and although I don’t know her personally I wanted to do my part in fulfilling her request.
You can find the recipe here. I didn’t alter her recipe, so I will not reprint it.
Make this today and share it with your loved ones, keeping in mind that tomorrow is never promised.

Do I spy broken up peanut butter cups on top? Brilliant.
I loved this pie. I don’t know Jennifer either but my heart goes out to her. I love how the food blog community came together for her with all these pies!
I know, it’s heartbreaking. And, yes, those are broken up little pieces of Reese Cups! That’s the only thing different I did. I probably should have mentioned that!!
