Sometimes things just stand out to you and you know you have to just go make it right then and there.
Wow.
That sounded very Southern, didn’t it.
I probably should have said din’t it.
I have a fantastic example that I so wish I could share with you in a picture, but I can’t.
My cousin (she should be my sister), OH and she blogs at Hunger & Happiness, yeah, anyway, she just found her dress.
Like, THE dress. Her wedding is in October.
She found it in one shopping excursion, in one moment. Because she knew it was the one. I’m so happy and proud (giddy) and all that shit, I really am. I just can’t share the picture of the fantastic, beautiful dress with you because the future Mr. of Meighan B. might see. We cannot have that, people.
Anyway –
I found this perfect, easy and delicious cake on Plain Chicken. You know anything that girl makes is gonna be good. I have no idea why this particular recipe was so intriguing; I’m not a “sweets” foodie.
Maybe I’m ovulating? Hhhmmm.
A decadent chocolate cake with no eggs, no milk, no butter?
No.
Yes.
I’m not lying to you when I say we made two of these back to back; the first one was gone in a matter of hours.
You would think my family had never had a piece of damn cake in their entire life. Seriously.
I added some vanilla ice cream, a raspberry sauce, and a few berries on top.
It’s so moist! And the best part is how easy it is to make.
Click here to get the recipe.
For the Raspberry sauce, combine 3 tbsp of raspberry jam with 1 tbsp water and microwave for 30 seconds.
Whisk and pour.
Eat.
xoxo
