As part of Adopt-A-Blogger hosted by Wendy from Celiacs In The House this month, Sunny and I have adopted Stephanie O’dea.
A New York Times best seller, Stephanie is an award-winning blogger and mother of three children. She has an amazing website that features a year of crock pot recipes, A Year Of Slow Cooking.
A.WHOLE.YEAR. This woman is inspiring.
Sunny was more familiar with her, having bought Make It Fast, Make It Slow (which I fully intend to buy VERY soon), but it wasn’t until recently that I spent some time getting to know this author and looking through her blogs. I’ve soooo been missing out.
She’s had appearances on Good Morning America and The Rachael Ray Show, and has been featured in Real Simple Magazine, Woman’s World, and Oprah.com. She has a fantastic home website, Totally Together Journal, helps readers organize and maintain their homes.
For the Adopt A Blogger event, I chose to make her crock pot blueberry buckle.
It was fantastic!! Here’s the recipe.
There’s nothing this woman can’t make in the crock pot.
Thanks so much to Wendy for hosting Adopt A Blogger this month!
Last thing – if you haven’t been to ICM lately, go there immediately! We’re giving away TWO of Stephanie’s cookbooks to one lucky winner!!
Have a great Sunday!
