Shamrock Shots

Shamrock Shots

My Shamrock Shots are fun, miniature sized flavored vodka jello shots just for St. Patrick’s Day. They’re so much fun to make and even better to drink (slurp).

St. Patrick’s Day is Friday March 17th, so get your cocktails in line and prepare for shenanigans and pinching people.

*Pinching people* as in people that pinch.

Speaking of St. Patrick’s Day, how stinkin’ cute are these little mason jars?? So perfect for making St. Patrick’s Day shots with.

I had no idea these little things even existed until I saw them at Target.

I just knew I had to have these itty-bitty-made-for-smurfs-glass-beer-mugs.

How to Make Shamrock Shots

Seriously, these little individual sized cocktails are pretty easy and so much fun to make.

You can also let the kids be involved and leave out the alcohol, but I would probably get bigger “shot” glasses because these are pretty miniature and it may be frustrating for little fingers.

The only time consuming thing about making these cute little things is making the jello and allowing them to set in the shot glasses.

The rainbows are Airhead sour candy strips that I easily curved.

The pots of gold are tiny little pots that I found at Hobby Lobby for very cheap, and I cut burlap to wrap around the top of the pots to give them a little personality.

Lemonheads work perfectly for the “gold”.

You definitely don’t have to make these in tiny glass beer mugs. You could use the mini plastic “red cup” shot cups; those would work just as well!

Obviously, I used Lucky Charms to decorate my little scene, and if you’re having a St. Patty’s Day party your guests will love this until they get too tipsy to really pay attention to it.

Speaking of St. Patrick’s Day, I have lots of corned beef recipes

Since corned beef Reubens are my absolute favorite sandwich, I tend to use that taste profile to make unique dishes like Reuben Eggrolls, Reuben Stuffed Meatballs, Reuben Burger. <–You must, must taste!!
