Big Mac Cheeseburger Dip

Ok, so we all have our own quirky little cheeseburger ways. I love any cheeseburger, any time of the day.

Well, I say that but I there are have certain condiments that are crucial or I won’t be real happy.

At the very least cheese, mayo, and pickles. When I make my own, it generally has more stuff packed on it that a lot of times a fork is required, like here, here¬†and here. Look, I love a lot of shit on mine. I can’t help it.

However, I’ve always loved Big Macs, obviously the inspiration behind this dip.

I can remember being 17 years old, and although I absolutely loved Big Macs, sometimes I would feel so guilty eating them (I thought I was too chunky) that I would negotiate with myself and NOT get the fries thinking that made it ok.

Of course, then I wouldn’t get to actually enjoy it because I didn’t have the fries to dip in my very favorite mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup. That’s the whole package.

Have you noticed that as good as Burger King’s burgers have always been, the fries don’t quite measure up to McDonald’s?

This has all the taste of a Big Mac in dip form. And it’s really easy to make. You will notice I didn’t add pickles, but you can always chop some up and throw them on there.

Big Mac Cheeseburger Dip

Big Mac Cheeseburger Dip


  • 1/2 onion, diced very small
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • Thousand Island dressing


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Bring oil over medium heat and add onions, saute for about 3 minutes.
  • Add ground beef, stir, brown and drain the fat.
  • In a 9x9 (roughly) glass baking dish spread the ground beef on the bottom.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 30 minutes, until cheese has melted.
  • Top with lettuce and tomatoes and drizzle with Thousand Island (to your preference).
  • Serve with chips or crackers.
