Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage Balls

Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage Balls

Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage Balls are a staple that every Southerner has a recipe for, and no holiday party would be complete without. Breakfast sausage, flour, and shredded cheddar cheese are the main players here; I added jalapenos and a little cayenne for a kick.

Yes, it’s the famous little sausage balls that are highly addictive, poppable, cheesy appetizers that are absolutelys perfect for holiday parties.

Or baby showers, or bridal teas.

Oh, or office thingies.

You know, the ones that you can’t stop eating even though you want to. The ones that make you feel like you gotta unbutton your jeans when nobody’s looking so you can breathe.

Yeah, those.

But they’re different. I added fresh jalapeños.

Imagine that. Fresh jalapeños that add just the right about of kick.

Why, you ask?

Why add something to these already classic, delicious, binge worthy, usually-a-holiday staple that has been around for so many years un-messed with?

Because I like to, and it’s fantastic.

That is precisely why.

You will absolutely LOVE it.IMGP3177

Also, after making them a few times I’ve noticed something I need to share.

Get the Jimmy Dean brand sausage. No, they aren’t paying me – this isn’t one of those sponsored posts. I just think their quality is that good.

You could definitely add more jalapeno to these, I just have to be careful because Mark doesn’t like heat. What is wrong with him? I like for my mouth to be on fire.

Ok, maybe not on fire, but I do like heat.

My jalapeños make sausage balls look sexy.
