Sometimes I just really want pizza, and sometimes it’s a Greek Pizza.
I’m really not picky when it comes to pizza. When I was pregnant with my son I craved it in such an insane way that I could put away about half of a large Pizza Hut Super Supreme by myself. Of course, I justified that by saying “Why are you looking at me like that? The baby wants it for God’s sake!”.
I literally could not get enough.
I wonder if that’s why the child refuses to eat any fast food of any kind to this day, and he’s 19 years old. Hell, maybe I did him a favor.
Yeah, then it was so much fun losing 60 pounds after he was born. About 3 years later I went and gained roughly 60 pounds again with my baby girl. Way to go, fatass. With that pregnancy, it wasn’t really pizza I craved. It was pita bread, tabbouleh and hummus. ALL.THE.TIME.
Mediterranean flavor cravings really never ceased after that.
And, baba ghanoush was a prego favorite – I LOVE it. Most people are unfamiliar with it, but it’s an eggplant dip that looks a little gross depending on where you get it. But it really is amazing…despite the fact that it looks like shit.
This pizza doesn’t look gross, however. I could eat this every single day.
Tomatoes, artichokes, Kalamata olives (I just can’t tell you how much I love those), lots of cheese and Greek seasoning – all on my favorite pizza crust recipe.

I could eat Greek EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I make a similar pizza, and you’ve just reminded me I need to make some, soon!
Glad I could remind you! Thanks so much Nichole!!
That’s one beautiful pie! (60 lbs? Damn! Impressive!)
Yep. I had some chunky (very healthy) sweet babies!! Thanks Adam!
I love baba ganoush. And I love Greek seasoning. I think Greek Baba Ganoush could be a thing. I have two kids that hate fast food. And I craved McDonald’s cheese burgers and sesame chicken when I was pregnant. I don’t eat fast food any more either. And I gave up beef. Weird, huh?
Skillet Greek Pizza? YES PLEASE!~Carolyn @ Cabot
Thanks Carolyn!
